This Privacy Policy describes how Eloquent Info Solutions Private Limited ("WorkIndia", "we" or "our") WorkIndia collects, uses, processes and protects your Personal Data (defined below) in the course of providing our services through our websites and apps, where this Privacy Policy appears or is referenced ("Privacy Policy"), including: (i) the WorkIndia Website (https://www.workindia.in/) ("Website"); (ii) the 'WorkIndia Recruiter App' ("Recruiter App"); and (iii) the 'WorkIndia Job Search App' ("Job Search App") ((i)- (iii), together "Platforms", and provision of our products and / or services through such Platforms ("Services").

By accessing our Platforms, You consent to the processing of your Personal Data in accordance with and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. [by clicking the "I accept" on the Consent Notice which appears before using or availing any of our Platforms], you agree to the collection and processing of your personal information for the stated purposes and in accordance with terms of this Privacy Policy. The Consent Notice will provide you with an option to agree to provide your Personal Data and has to be read together with this Privacy Policy.

  • register to use our Services, such as login to apply for jobs through the Job Search App;
  • apply for jobs through the Job Search App;

  • register to avail our online courses and certificates;
  • elect to receive any communications (including promotional offers) from us; and
  • Personal Data you give us, from the information gathered by your visit to our Website.

  • use details like call log to identify whether the User's application was successful or not for the job and based on the connected call we notify the address of the job / employer to User.
  • collect and use information like your contact list from your device to share jobs with your friends and other contacts in the contact list.
  • collect and use phone number to enhance account security and to prevent unauthorized access to User's account.
  • enforce the terms of use of our Job Search App;
  • protect against and prevent fraud, illegal activity, harm, financial loss and other legal or information security risks; and
  • serve other purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection, and as otherwise authorised or required by applicable law.

Personal Data you give us, from your use of our Recruiter App. For instance, when you:
  • register to use our Services, such as login to hire staff and post job applications through the Recruiter App;
  • purchase our pricing plans through the Recruiter App;
  • contact us for any queries or complaints through customer support or otherwise;
  • elect to receive any communications (including promotional offers) from us; and
  • Personal Data you give us, from the information gathered by your visit to our Recruiter App.

  • Contact details like mobile number, email ID, etc.
  • Cookies and other details like IP address.
  • Financial information such as payment details, bank details, GST etc.
  • Login details like username, password, etc.
  • Other Personal Data like call log, User location, User's contact list, etc.
  • provide our Services to you (such as enable you to enlist jobs on our Recruiter App) and communicate with you about Services offered by us;
  • provide our Services related to job posting, pricing plan, sharing resumes and job applications, making job applications through a call, etc;
  • process your payments for the various pricing plans through the Recruiter App;
  • identify whether the User's application was successful or not for the job and based on the connected call we notify the address of the job / employer to User;
  • enhance account security and prevent unauthorized access to User's account;
  • enforce the terms of use of our Recruiter App;
  • protect against and prevent fraud, illegal activity, harm, financial loss and other legal or information security risks; and
  • serve other purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection, and as otherwise authorised or required by applicable Data Protection Laws.

You can make choices about our collection and use of your Personal Data. For example, when you are asked to provide Personal Data, you may decline. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the use of your Personal Data for these activities. You can do so at any time, and details of how to do so can be found in the section F below, titled "What are your rights in relation to your Personal Data". However, please note that we may process your Personal Data for legitimate uses under applicable Data Protection Laws without your consent in such instances as have been described as above, and you may not be able to refuse/withdraw your consent to such processing.


C. Processing of Personal Data of Minors and Persons with Disabilities

Our Platforms allow Users from the age of 16 years (i.e., minors) and above to use our Services, such as application for jobs. That said, should such minor User choose to provide their Personal Data, we will seek adequate verifiable parental consent as prescribed under applicable Data Protection Law ("Verifiable Parental Consent") for processing such minors' Personal Data. Verifiable Parental Consent may be provided by fulfilling the requirements of an additional parental consent notice which will appear whenever the Personal Data of a minor is shared on our Platforms.

In any event, we do not track or monitor minors' behaviour online nor provide them with targeted advertisements, even when any minor's Personal Data is collected with Verifiable Parental Consent. For the purposes of availing our Services by and/or for and on behalf of persons with disabilities using our Platforms, we seek verifiable consent from their lawful guardians for sharing and processing of their Personal Data. Verifiable consent may be provided by lawful guardians of persons with disabilities by fulfilling the requirements to accept an additional consent notice which may appear whenever the Personal Data of a person with disability is shared on Platform, in such manner as prescribed under applicable Data Protection Laws.


D. How we protect your information?

We will use technical and organisational measures to process and safeguard your Personal Data in accordance with applicable Data Protection Laws. For instance, we adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and various other reasonable security measures to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your Personal Data that is provided or processes or stored on our Platforms. We also use the NOTP library (a feature provided by Exotel) to securely verify Users' phone numbers during registration or recovery of the User's account.

Where WorkIndia engages third-party service providers, vendors, cloud service providers, analytics providers or other data processors to process Personal Data on its behalf, such parties shall be subject to appropriate contractual confidentiality, security and data protection obligations consistent with applicable Data Protection Laws. WorkIndia undertakes reasonable due diligence and security assessments before sharing Personal Data with such third parties.

WorkIndia maintains incident response and security procedures designed to identify, assess and respond to personal data breaches in accordance with applicable Data Protection Laws. Where required under applicable law, WorkIndia shall notify relevant authorities and affected Users of personal data breaches within prescribed timelines.

E. How we share your Personal Data?

We do not share, sell, trade, or rent the Personal Data of Users to any other third party, especially email IDs of Users are not shared with third parties, unless such sharing has been described in Section B above.

We may also share generic aggregated demographic information of Users, which do not contain any Personal Data, with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined in the section B above titled "How we collect and use your Personal Data".

Personal Data shared with employers through the Platforms shall be limited to information necessary for recruitment and hiring purposes. Employers are contractually required to use such information only for lawful recruitment-related purposes and in accordance with applicable law.

We will store your Personal Data only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes of providing our Services. After this period, we will delete your Personal Data, unless we are otherwise required to store it for any other period of time under any applicable law.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Platforms that link to the sites and services of our partners, institutes, advertisers, sponsors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these third party sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Platform. In addition, these third party sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing and they may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Platform, is subject to that website's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for these third party websites or services or their terms and policies.


I. Advertising

Advertisements appearing on our Platforms may be delivered to Users by third party advertising partners, who may set Cookies. These Cookies allow the advertising partner to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile Personal Data about you or others who use your computer. This information allows our advertising partners to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of Cookies by any advertising partners or the policies governing the manner of collection of such Cookies. We are not responsible for these third party advertisement websites or services or their terms and policies.

Some of the ads may be served by Google. Google's use of the DART Cookie enables it to serve ads to Users based on their visit to our Platform and other sites on the Internet. DART uses "non personally identifiable information" and does NOT track Personal Data about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, etc. You may opt out of the use of the DART Cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy at www.google.com/privacy_ads.html. We are not responsible for these Cookies being used by Google or their terms and policies.

We reserve the right to update, modify and amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, as may be required and in accordance with applicable Data Protection Laws. We will notify you by e-mail of any such changes.

We also encourage Users to frequently check this page on our Platforms for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. The updated version of this Privacy Policy will be effective as soon as it is accessible on our Platforms.

The Grievance Officer is identified above pursuant to the provisions of applicable laws including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or information) Rules, 2011, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules enacted under those laws.

If you are unsatisfied with the redressal provided by our authorized officer in response to your grievances, please feel free to raise your complaint before the Data Protection Board of India.
